In These few years, The young all-girls Choir has grown from strength to strength. Since June 2009, under The direction of Their conductor, Mr Darius Lim, The Choir has garnered numerous accolades and awards to Their name. In 2010 The Choir won The Gold Award at The 3rd Orientale Concentus International Choral Competition in Yilan, Taiwan. The Choir was also Category Winner and was one of four Choirs to be invited to compete in The grand finals. In 2011 The Choir attained Their first Silver award at The Singapore Youth Festival Central Judging of Choirs. In The same year They came in 2nd at The National A Capella Championships. The Choir has also collaborated with numerous national ensembles such as The Singapore Police Force Band and Choir and The Singapore Armed Forces Band. They have performed at major Concert venues including The Esplanade Concert Hall, School of The Arts Concert Hall and Victoria Concert Hall - both alone and also ...    less

In our 'Me and All of You' Concerts in March 2017, where The Choir was largely accompanying solo instruments in a Concerto, or where we were sharing The limelight with a virtuosic soloist, we chose to begin our Concert as we would if we were an orchestra!

The ensemble performs masterworks of The Choral-orchestral repertoire such as Beethoven's 9th Symphony and Orff's Carmina Burana, as well as opera choruses, a cappella repertoire, and works specially composed for Them. Performances include world-renowned guest soloists and musicians. The ensemble is directed by internationally acclaimed conductor and composer Steven Sametz. Lehigh University Choral Union has performed at New York's Carnegie Hall and has toured internationally in China, Portugal, Hawaii, Italy, Spain, Austria and Hungary. No audition is required but The ability to read music is helpful.  less
