Led by innovative and experienced choral conductors, this exciting new Choir will rehearse weekly in the Heart of Blackheath, and will perform locally and further afield, at a wide range of events and concerts. Are you interested in being part of an exhilarating new group, performing everything from Tina Turner to Thomas Tallis? Let us answer some questions for you… I’m new to singing in Choirs. Does that matter? Absolutely not! VOCALIZE: Blackheath welcomes singers of all abilities and experiences, and the songs will be taught in a variety of ways to suit each singer. The professional Choir performs in Boston and New York with a unique group of singers from all over the country. The group is made up entirely of students at Berklee College of Music. The name, Crepusculum, is the Latin word for twilight, or the perfect blending of light and dark (voices).

The Choir members originate from different kind of choral background (close harmony, church Choir and oratorium Choir). Endora consists of 8 sopranos, 8 altos, 5 tenors and 5 basses.

In May 2014, a concert entitled: “The CWU Choirs and Friends sing songs of Singh” was presented on the CWU Campus. In that concert, 28 of Singh’s pieces were performed by 6 Choirs, including two invited guest high school Choirs. Known for compositions such as Johnny Said No, and Medieval Gloria- this concert included those accessible compositions as well as some of the more challenging pieces, like this one. As of 2014, the CWU Chamber Choir also has recorded videos of the music of Gjeilo, Byrd, Gretchaninoff, Monteverdi, Muehleisen, Victoria, and Rautavaara on YouTube.
