In these few years, the young all-girls Choir has grown from strength to strength. Since June 2009, under the direction of their conductor, Mr Darius Lim, the Choir has garnered numerous accolades and awards to their name. In 2010 the Choir won the Gold Award at the 3rd Orientale Concentus International Choral Competition in Yilan, Taiwan. The Choir was also Category Winner and was one of four Choirs to be invited to compete in the grand finals. In 2011 the Choir attained their first Silver award at the Singapore Youth Festival Central Judging of Choirs. In the same year they came in 2nd at the National A Capella Championships. The Choir has also collaborated with numerous national ensembles such as the Singapore Police Force Band and Choir and the Singapore Armed Forces Band. They have performed at major concert venues including the Esplanade Concert Hall, School of the Arts Concert Hall and Victoria Concert Hall - both alone and also ...    less

Répétitions Les répétitions ont lieu le mercredi soir de 20.00 à 22.00, rue Nerié, Alzonne Nouveaux Membres Les nouveaux membres sont toujours bienvenus. Alzonne Choir is a group of about 25 singers, mainly French, with some English-speaking members too. Rehearsals Rehearsals take place Wednesday evenings from 20.00 to 22.00 at rue Nerié, Alzonne. All Welcome!

MGC travelled widely in Europe and had a high standard. In 2003, we changed our name to Manx Voices. We love singing to community groups, in church services and concerts. We compete in our local music festivals and have sung on stage with Blake. We are a very democratic, mutually supportive group of women ranging in age from 10 to 70!
