Since then the Choir has been not only one of the best Choirs in it`s home country Latvia but also recognized and awarded in many international Choir contests. The Choir has participated in countless international Choir festivals and performed abroad, for example, in Portugal, Japan, Canada, United States of America and many more. Founder of the Choir was Mefodijs Skuja but the greatest achievments DZINTARS succeeded with perennial conductor Ausma Derkēvica. Since 2000 the conductor and Artistic Director is Aira Birziņa, chief conductor of The Nationwide Song Festival in Latvia, Professor of Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, organizator of innumerable cultural projects and author of the concepts of many projects for avocational Choirs. The Choirs are famous in Kingston and beyond for joyful concerts full of non-traditional staging, diverse repertoire and singing demonstrating great skill and enthusiasm. Cantabile now includes six Choirs and over 250 voices, performing music which engages and entertains at every event. From the beginning, Cantabile has provided musical education for choristers and audiences through this high standard of performance and quality choral literature. Monica Parish Chamber Singers was established last 2020 during the Pandemic with its Choirmaster, Ms. Jaimaica Lalic. Primarily, we are singing in our Parish here in Angat, Bulacan and using the talent that was given to us to serve God every sunday and any other liturgical celebrations. We are also being invited in some various events to perform.

Orfej...  moreKomorni zbor Orfej / Chamber Choir Orfej was formed in 1989. The Choir's permanent artistic director is Romana Rek. In the past years, Chamber Choir Orfej has received a number of awards, which places them among the more prominent Slovenian Choirs. Orfej has proven its high level of vocal performance in April 2010 at the prestigious Slovene national Choir competition ‘Naša Pesem’ (i. e. ‘Our Song’). The Choir scored 93 points, received the gold award, and the second prize in the category ‘mixed Choirs’.
