Handel, Gloria, by Vivaldi, The Durufle Requiem, The Pope Marcellus Mass by Palestrina, Magnificat by J.S. Bach and Morten Lauridsen’s Lux Aeterna. During The summer, Cantate presents The Pacific Summer Music Festival which hosts guest musicians such as The nation’s most beloved choral conductor, Dr. Weston Noble, concert pianists, Itay Goren and Frank Pavese and The Grammy-nominated string ensemble, Quartet San Francisco. The chorale also performs during special occasions with The Guam Territorial Band led by alumnus, Maximo Ronquillo Jr.  less

Dec 2010 in The Sandnes kirke. As you may observe, former members of The choir (those without The burgundy coates) are welcomed up to join The choir in this finale song in each concert, as it has been for 37 years in a row! (And if They are observed by The conductor when arriving to The churc and choose NOT to join, They are very kindly told to do so! This caused a special occasion in this concert: a moTher and a daughter singing in The same choir! :-)) This year our guest conductor Inger Lise Hope, also a former member, took on The job at short notice because of illness. Indeed, she did a great job in three concerts!  less
