The group me...  moreMind & Soul is a community Choir based at the Maudsley Hospital in South London, which is open to SLAM service users/staff, their friends and carers, local people and anyone who accesses mental health services, as well as those who don't. The group meets every Wednesday evening in the gym at the Maudsley Hospital, 115 Denmark Hill SE5 8AZ between 6-7pm. Our patron is the wonderful Mary King.  

A unique cultural institution in East London since 1973, Hackney Singers are a 150-strong community Choir drawing members from Hackney, surrounding boroughs and across London.

The live repertoire on offer includes traditional and original songs from all regions in Africa in local languages and in English, but also incorporates interpretations of African–American classics. London AFRICAN GOSPEL Choir’s live shows range from 6 piece a cappella to a full blown 20 member band and Choir. The dance choreography so much a part of the live show brings a unique and spectacular element to the performances. Shows are adaptable to festivals, theaters, concert halls, corporate events, street events, weddings and funerals. The Choir can also provide backing singers and musicians for third party recordings and performances.  less
