Nuestro sueño no hace falta soñarlo en pasado, lo soñamos cada vez que nos subimos a un escenario. Con los nervios a flor de piel, que se notaron, por los estrenos, desgranamos cada una de las obras, nuevas , frescas, como todo aquello que escribe , compone, o en donde "mete la mano" Sergio Rodríguez , nuestro director. Dejarse llevar por sus gestos, le da otro significado a la palabra "cantar". Muchas gracias al ISTIC ( Instituto Superior de Teología de las Islas Canarias )y a la Universidad de La Laguna por la invitación , a D. Juan Pedro Rivero que nos trató con una amabilidad que no está de moda y por supuesto al público asistente. Cuando cantas y escuchas "bravo" varias veces, piensas que algo estás haciendo bien . A los polifonicxs, muchas gracias, por el esfuerzo, por las horas, por renovarse en cada ensayo y en cada concierto. El camino se empezó hace un año y seguimos....    less

Also winning ...  moreIn the World Choir Championships which was held in Graz, Austria between 10th-17th July 2011, Boğaziçi Jazz Choir became the 'WORLD CHAMPION' in Contemporary Music and Folklore categories, and got the 'second prize' in Mixed Choirs category. Also winning 2 more gold medals in 'Grand Prix of Choral Music' the champions competed in, the choir has come back to Turkey with a total of 5 gold medals.
