We rehearse in the Toronto Danforth area. The TCS Children’s Choir mission is to encourage and enrich the musical interests of children in Toronto’s east end by providing a community choir experience in which they can learn, perform, and develop a life-long appreciation for singing. The choir provides a supportive environment in which singers can develop their musical abilities by learning and performing choral classics, music from a variety of cultures, and music that celebrates the heritage of the City of Toronto.  less

These days, some of our members are hospital staff whilst others are members of the local community. The poem has a clear structure (verse – Chorus), and the vocal parts are kept straightforward. The striking piece contains some jazzy chords and humorously unexpected twists. This work won the first prize in the 2013 Composition Competition of the European Choral Association in the frame of the festival Youth Choirs in Movement.

Under the direction of Diana Clark since 2009, Children’s Choir consists of caring young musicians from diverse cultural heritages, ages 9-15 years old. Storytelling, joy of singing, connection and flexibility of performance are the core values of this group. The choir also loves to work with guest conductors and share with other choirs. They have recently been guest singers with Vancouver Chamber Choir. Since 1989, when Donna Otto founded the group, Coastal Sound Children’s Choir has performed at important cultural events in Greater Vancouver and Whistler, has toured extensively throughout the world, and has co-hosted the Coastal Sound International Choral Festival. coastalsoundmusic.com  less

YNS is a Children's choir organization of over 330 singers in 8 different choirs ranging in age from grades 1- 12. Choirs consist of singers grouped by age and ability, as well as a Boys Choir and Young Men's Chorus
