This 30-strong male choir aspires to the celebrated male choral tradition and delights in exploring its infinite artistic depth. Under the leadership of Meng-Hsien Peng as conductor and artistic director since 2013, the choir has achieved prestige as one of the country’s foremost choral groups. Throughout its seventeen years of existence, the Müller Chamber Choir has time and time again participated in interNational choral events to expand its artistic vision. In 2007, led by maestro Julian Ching-Chun Su, the choir participated in the 23rd Takarazuka InterNational Chamber Chorus Contest in Japan and took home a gold medal in the Folklore category and a silver medal in the Romantic category, placing second in the overall ranking. At the beginning, PSM-ITB sang only in campus society and subs...  moreOn February 11th 1962, few ITB students established Paduan Suara Mahasiswa Institut Teknologi Bandung (PSM-ITB or ITB Student Choir) which was the first University-based choir in Indonesia. At the beginning, PSM-ITB sang only in campus society and subsequently performed in public. However since 1973, it participated in various National choir competitions and repeatedly won the first prizes. This led PSM-ITB to become one of the most established choirs in Indonesia. In several occasions, the choir has been given the chance to perform in events attended by the President of Indonesia. It regularly performs in concerts, occasionally collaborated with other choirs and orchestras. In 1968 PSM-ITB organized the 1st ITB Choir Festival (FPS-ITB). Since then the festival is held biannually and becomes the largest National choir event in term of categories (from children to adult and folklore catagories) and participants.
