Our purpose is to sing for enjoyment & to share this with the community. We are a non-audition choir, all we ask of those wishing to join us is that they can sing in tune.

Throughout its Long history, the Choir has performed almost every major choral work in the repertoire. The Halifax Choral Society has always aimed high and has traditionally performed with first-rate orchestras, soloists and conductors. Looking through the annals of the Society is to turn back the pages of musical history of the past two centuries.

The choirs perform regularly in major London venues including Royal Albert Hall, and sing with professional orchestras. They also tour extensively, and have performed in US, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Seychelles and across Europe. We welcome visiting choirs and enjoy joining with other youth choirs in concerts. We have a training choir for younger singers, and a choir for boys whose Voices have changed.

Stellarum is founded on the principles of encouraging amateur musicianship of all levels. We compete in our local music festivals and have sung on stage with Blake. We are a very democratic, mutually supportive group of women ranging in age from 10 to 70!

We are a small chamber choir of 20-25 singers founded 55 years ago, based in the London borough of Hillingdon. We perform a wide repertoire of secular and sacred music, with and without accompaniment. Our concerts are at various venues in and around th...  moreWe are a small chamber choir of 20-25 singers founded 55 years ago, based in the London borough of Hillingdon. We perform a wide repertoire of secular and sacred music, with and without accompaniment. Our concerts are at various venues in and around the borough, and once a year we perform with a small professional orchestra. We also hold regular social gatherings, to include families and friends, and enjoy musical evenings and events. Would you like to sing with us? New members in all Voices are warmly welcomed. After a few weeks there is a short informal audition, which includes some sight-reading. Members are asked to pay a modest subscription of £11 per month by direct debit. We rehearse weekly during term time on Monday evenings from 8.00pm to 10.00pm, in the small parish hall at All Saints Church, Long Lane, Hillingdon, UB10 9BT. The small parish hall is behind the main church hall, and can be accessed from the side entrance.  less
