These singers have already demonstrated their enthusiasm for exploring various genres and styles, and their performances are infused with infectious joy and youthful enthusiasm. They act as ambassadors for the Community School of Music and Arts to reach the broader community through performance and share their love of music.

The BoyCHOIR’s reputation for excellence has brought invitations from local and NATIONAL music conventions, as well as sporting events and touring Broadway companies. The BoyCHOIR has performed with the Minnesota Orchestra, the Minnesota Opera, the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, the Baltimore Symphony, the Prague Philharmonic, Garrison Keillor’s A Prairie Home Companion on NATIONAL Public Radio, amongst others. This season our CHOIRboys will be featured in Minnesota American Choral Directors Association’s 50th Anniversary Celebration Golden Finale Concert along with first-time appearances with the Wayzata Symphony Orchestra, Edina Chorale and St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church CHOIR (Orff’s Carmina Burana). This was the first group to become active at Academia Concerto in 2005 and during this time has made significant projects such as the participation in the Opera "Il Capulletti ed Il Montecchi" by Bellini, with first complete performance in Brazil in São Pedro Theatre - São Paulo, sang the American Musical "Video Games Live" with composer Jack Wall, made a joint presentation with the American CHOIR "BYU Singers", performed Vivaldi’s "Beatus Vir" RV 579 for two CHOIRs and orchestra with Madrigal Mackenzie.
