Szczecin University Choir is the youngest vocal ensamble in Szczecin (Poland) estabilished in 2006. Concert group counts about 60 people, mainly students, academic teachers and friends outside college. Our repertoire has about 80 a capella works (from medieval to contemporary composers), large sacred forms by Haendel, Mozart and Mendellsohn Bartholdy and 40 carols. We have performed at several festivals and international events (Germany, France, Switzerland, Bulgaria). We are interested in a close partnership with the other choirs outside Poland (exchange tours and joint appearances)  less

The Spinnakerettes reach a new high in 2014. Presenting their best performance to date: The girls were very happy to come home to Portsmouth with a 5th place medal. Hooray!!!

Very much (but not exclusively) in the barbershop stlye. Even though we have only been going a few months, our numbers have been increasing weekly as more and more people are seduced by the magical sound of ringing chords. We aim to be a serious performing Chorus in due course. We have had a very successful 2012 and hope for even better in 2013 where we have a whole host of exciting things planned. Stay tuned! We'd very much be interested in meeting/collaborating with other choirs in our area. We are on Facebook so have a little look and maybe come and sing a few baas with us!  less
