Paralia is a touristic seaside village situated on the west coast of the Thermaic Gulf and in the shadow of Olympus. The Festival has two parts: competitive and non-competitive. However, the character and the main concept of both parts is joining MUSIC, vacation, friendship and fun. The idea of the Festival is to bring the MUSIC closer to the people and to present the MUSIC on the streets and the squares of Paralia, Olympic Beach and Katerini. All choir ensembles, regardless of the members’ gender and age can apply for participation at the Festival.  less

We are resident at St. Matthew's parish church in Chapel Allerton. We rehearsal three times a month, on a Friday evening and sing four services a month, including Evensong on the first Sunday of every month. We also often host come and sing days and various workshops, our two most recent projects have been on Buxtehude's Membra Jesu Nostri and Mozart's Requiem. The choir itself is composed of students, staff, faculty, and members of the Twin Cities community. Over the years, the choir’s repertoire has included performances of: Britten’s Rejoice in the Lamb, The Requiems of Brahms and Mozart, Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms, and others. Auditions held every August and January.  

The Victoria Consort is a Belfast based chamber choir established in 2011, comprised of some of the finest young singers from across Northern Ireland. The choir performs a wide range of choral MUSIC to a HIGH standard in concerts across the country.

We sing a variety of MUSIC ranging from show-tunes to pop, moving ballads to toe-tapping up-tunes, with a preference for harmony MUSIC in the barbershop style. Phoenix have performed around the world, in the USA, Canada, Holland and Ireland as well as all over Britain in world renowned venues such as the Birmingham Symphony Hall, Royal Albert Hall and The Sage in Gateshead.

It came HIGHly Commended in Westminster SCHOOL's Carol Competition in 2012, and was the first HIGHly Commended entry in The Times Carol Competition in 2013.
