It was officially inaugurated in September 2011 and was widely attended by thousands of choral music lovers across the country. The group has performed at numerous high profile functions like the international leadership awards night (tuzoya oungozi), national peace makers rally at the national theater among others. The group also embarked on a nationwide peace campaign tour which was dubbed "11.11.12 - Sing Ghana 4 peace". The choir is noted for music evangelism and charity projects in Ghana. The event had a picnic character and took place on June 16 in the evening in the courtyard with fountains in front of the Main Building of the Gdańsk University of Technology. The program includes works by Georg Friedrich Handel performed by the Baroque orchestra and academic choirs from Gdańsk and Kraków, as well as a fireworks show. The Concert repertoire includes pieces by George Frideric Handel, such as the coronation anthem "Zadok the Priest" and "My Heart is Inditing", "Water Music" and "Music for the Royal Fireworks" were performed. The music scene was set on the stairs in front of the Main Building. The musical side of the evening was made more attractive by the fireworks show, which accompanied the performance of the last part of "Music for the Royal Fireworks".  less

With a large repertoire ranging from art to popular music, and stretching from the medieval to the contemporary in style, this choir gives many Concerts throughout the academic year, both in Ireland and abroad. Following a competitive selection process each September, eighteen gifted students are awarded a scholarship, with recipients of the award coming from a range of academic disciplines across the University, from Music to Medicine, Law, Agricultural Science, Commerce and Engineering. The choir regularly broadcasts on Irish television and radio.
