The Forest City Fire a cappella chorus aims to sing interesting and challenging music with a High level of precision and expertise. It is our belief that a cappella singing can be enjoyed by people from all ages and all walks of life.

The choir's size allows it to concentrate on performing the larger major choral works to great effect. The choir has also been invited to collaborate with the Philharmonia Chorus and the BBC National Chorus of Wales on many occasions in recent years to tackle some of the choral pieces requiring even greater choral forces such as Mahler's Eighth Symphony, Janacek's Glagolitic Mass, the Dvorak Stabat Mater and La Damnation de Faust by Berlioz. The FGC "Golden Girls are proud of being the founder members of this young up and coming Girls Choir in the western Cape. FGC is a High School choir that is comprised of girls between the ages of 13 and 18.

As a part of the historic community of Worcester Cathedral, the choir has gained a reputation for musical sensitivity and ground breaking performance. The choir was founded in 1998 by its musical director, Stephen Shellard, in order to draw together a group of High quality singers from the local area to develop a concert repertoire and further enrich the choral tradition of Worcester Cathedral. The MCHS Mass Choir is made up of singers from the various choirs at Memorial Composite High School in Stony Plain Alberta with the bulk of the choir coming from Memorial's Contemporary and General Choirs.
