Past directors have included Dr. Elroy Friesen, Kristel Peters and Nathan Poole. The current artistic team consists of director, Vic Pankratz, assistant director Geung Lee and accompanist Ben Sellick. Prairie Voices performs in their own concert series, tours, is a regular guest of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and has recorded 6 CDs (including one as guest choir with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra). While placing an emphasis on performing the music of Canadian and Manitoban composers, Prairie Voices also loves to perform innovative contemporary choral music from all over the world. The choir uses energy, expressiveness and movement to connect avant-garde composition with a popular audience. Polifonía de construcción clásica, armonías del siglo XX y una atmósfera sonora delicada y expresiva, en un marco especial: la iglesia más antigua que se conserva en Madrid (San Nicolás), junto a la Calle Mayor de la ciudad.

The choir s...  moreThe choir of Notre-Dame de Bon Voyage has about 35 members and is the choir of the parish of Cannes, on the French Riviera. It was founded in 1898 by Albert Frommer, organist, and is now conducted by Stephan Nicolay, chapel master, since 1999. The choir sings each sunday and on special occasion in the different churches of Cannes. It also sings 4 to 6 concerts a year, sometimes with an orchestra. His repertory covers all the sacred music from gregorian chant to 21st century. Among the last masterworks done in concert with an orchestra are Requiem (Saint-Saens), Stabat Mater (Haydn), Vesperae Solennes de Confessore (Mozart), Gallia (Gounod), etc. New members are welcome.  less
