St George’s RC Church Sudburyhttp://stgeorgessudbury.org.uk/ is a Roman Catholic church in the Diocese of Westminsterhttp://www.rcdow.org.uk/ it was consecrated in 1928 and modelled on a pre-reformation English Church. By 1933 there was a regular Sung Mass every Sunday with organ. The singers (all male) were professionals hired by the Parish Priest. Within a short time there were sufficient men available for a choir trained by Frank Adams and they sang at Mass and on Sunday evenings at Vespers and Benediction. The choirs perform regularly in major London venues including Royal Albert Hall, and sing with professional orchestras. They also tour extensively, and have performed in US, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Seychelles and across Europe. We welcome visiting choirs and enjoy joining with other youth choirs in concerts. We have a training choir for younger singers, and a choir for boys whose Voices have changed.
