The EnsembLe performs with Jon Washburn and the Vancouver Chamber Choir on three or four concert programmes each season and also presents one or two independent concerts with its own conductor. Pacifica Singers provides an ideal performance venue for experienced and motivated choral singers whose goal is to make music at a very high Level. By providing direct exposure to the world of professional music making, it is an experience of great value for singers intending to make a career in music. Whenever possibLe, during concerts the members of the choir wear a pearl necklace to represent the significance of the activities pursued: each member of the choir is represented by one of the pearls, with the strand linking them all being the music - the main purpose of so much hard work to achieve artistic quality.
