A cloud moves through the sky; Floats high above. A single cloud in the sky, Gently drifting through the air. A cloud moves through the sky. You will be singing in a supportive environment where everyone is welcome regardless of experience or skill level. We typically begin the class by Integrating body, mind and soul through stretches, breathing and movement so that we are totally relaxed and ready to sing and play ! We have the opportunity through the classes to hone our technical skills by learning about musical composition and vocal technique !  less

It was founded in 1998 in response to the success of the Choral Meeting of Alexandria Municipality and mainly because of the Alexandrians who love the choral music and the encouragement of the Board Members of the Choir at the time. Like Melissanthi, Alexandrian Voices is, in the wider area of Alexandria, the music institution that target to the development of choral music, of course through the good company and the love for music itself. From the beginning it counts approximately 50 choristers, all amateurs (meaning that none has studied music) who love and sing almost all kinds of music. Since their beginning, Alexandrian Voices had the opportunity to participate and be distinguished in numerous events, competitions or not, musical or of special interest. Based on the International Choir Classification, Alexandrian Voices are ranked into the 1000 best Choirs in the world for both 2011 and 2012. Please read more: less
