Overtone Singing is a new vocal technique that allows for Singing two tones simultaneously. EOC sings compositions with written overtones as well as choir improvisations and contemporary music. The effect of controlled overtones on The timbre of classical choir compositions is explored with special ear training.

It also reflects much of The liturgical and popular symbolism of The Christmas season: robins, holly etc and it brings our thoughts towards The season of Easter with The blood of Good Friday.

The singers sang togeTher in The NeTherlands Youth Choir. They hit it off so well There that The ambition developed to continue togeTher in female a cappella repertoire; a relatively rare genre very dear to The hearts of all five. The top quality displayed since by Wishful Singing – both aurally and visually – makes The ensemble unique in The world.
The repertoire ranges from modest works from The Renaissance and Baroque eras to swinging versions of golden oldies such as Mister Sandman. The words of The song can be found in many Places on The Net, some more accurate than oThers. All of The Places are in Devon, except Callington, which is in Cornwall, but it is likely to be The correct Place since it is so close to The centre of The events - ie towns and villages North and West of Dartmoor.
(The Yetties' version of The song refers to "North Looe", but this is very unlikely to be correct, since Looe is much furTher into Cornwall).
In this The version I finally decided upon "North Lew" (a compromise between Quoditch's version and The Yetties' version):

The Luton Choral Society is registered by The Charity Commissioners (Reg. No. 290450) and is affiliated to Making Music Eastern Region which represents, supports and promotes amateur vocal and instrumental groups and music clubs throughout The United Kingdom.
