The choir consists of participants in workshop weeks, which are offered twice a year in different European countries. Overtone Singing is a new vocal technique that allows for Singing two tones simultaneously. EOC sings compositions with written overtones as well as choir improvisations and contemporary music. The effect of controlled overtones on The timbre of classical choir compositions is explored with special ear training.

They hit it off so well There that The ambition developed to continue togeTher in female a cappella repertoire; a relatively rare genre very dear to The hearts of all five. The top quality displayed since by Wishful Singing – both aurally and visually – makes The ensemble unique in The world. The repertoire ranges from modest works from The Renaissance and Baroque eras to swinging versions of golden oldies such as Mister Sandman. All of The Places are in Devon, except Callington, which is in Cornwall, but it is likely to be The correct Place since it is so close to The centre of The events - ie towns and villages North and West of Dartmoor. (The Yetties' version of The song refers to "North Looe", but this is very unlikely to be correct, since Looe is much furTher into Cornwall).
