Following on from the formation of a Birralee Tenth Anniversary Alumni Choir in 2005, Resonance of Birralee was formed under the leadership of Paul Holley. The young people involved represent a variety of professions and a significant number are tertiary students. They share a common love of singing and in many cases are accomplished musicians. One of their strengths as an ensemble is their expertise and appreciation of a broad range of music styles and their ability to adapt their programme to suit any event. In 2008 Resonance competed at the World Choir Games in Graz, Austria, where they won Gold and Silver medals in popular vocal and gospel categories. Madison Choral Project is a fully professional chamber choir of 16 - 20 voices. We perform largely a Capella works from the Renaissance to present day commissions.

At the beginning, PSM-ITB sang only in campus Society and subs...  moreOn February 11th 1962, few ITB students established Paduan Suara Mahasiswa Institut Teknologi Bandung (PSM-ITB or ITB Student Choir) which was the first university-based choir in Indonesia. At the beginning, PSM-ITB sang only in campus Society and subsequently performed in public. However since 1973, it participated in various national choir competitions and repeatedly won the first prizes. This led PSM-ITB to become one of the most established choirs in Indonesia. In several occasions, the choir has been given the chance to perform in events attended by the President of Indonesia. It regularly performs in concerts, occasionally collaborated with other choirs and orchestras. In 1968 PSM-ITB organized the 1st ITB Choir Festival (FPS-ITB). Since then the festival is held biannually and becomes the largest national choir event in term of categories (from children to adult and folklore catagories) and participants. The choir has been a finalist in both the CBC Choral competition for amateur...  moreThe Saskatoon Chamber Singers was founded in 1977 by a group of former Greystone Singers (University of Saskatchewan) who wanted to continue singing in a quality Choral ensemble. The choir has been a finalist in both the CBC Choral competition for amateur choirs and the International Choral Kathaumixw in Powell River, British Columbia, and participated in the non-competitive Festival 500 in St. John’s, Newfoundland. It has also been the guest choir at Saskatchewan Sings, and sang at the installation of Lynda Haverstock (a former member) as Lieutenant-Governor of Saskatchewan. In 2010, the choir performed at Podium, the biennial conference of the Association of Canadian Choral Communities, held in Saskatoon. The choir’s repertoire has been rich in variety since its establishment, and Canadian music has always been an important component of its programming.
