We are an a cappella mixed voice choir of around 35 singers. We started in 2008. We train together in vocal and choral skills as part of every session and want to explore our own sound as well as that of our choir's. We have a strong Folk influence and a variety of pieces that keep us challenged and growing. Directed and trained by singing teacher and choir coach Sandra Smith (www.singingandbreathing.co.uk) Throughout the pandemic we kept singing and did a short but very fun Homegrown Harmony project where all singers participated in a small group piece or a solo and recorded it. Usually it is the church song which is incorporated into the Folk culture. In the Sotho language: "I also like to see the angels on Mount Zion, with all the blessed people." This is from The OK Chorale's second public concert in March 2013 at St. Mary's Church, Woodbridge, SufFolk, UK.
