Morna Edmundson, Artistic Director, takes us through two of her warmups, 1) using folk song melodies to encourage legato singing and natural phrasing and 2) "Umbrellas" to ease the top of a woman's range. They also tour extensively, and have performed in US, Canad...  moreThe Southend Boys' Choir was formed in 1972 and the Girls' Choir in 1988. The choirs perform regularly in major London venues including Royal Albert Hall, and sing with professional orchestras. They also tour extensively, and have performed in US, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Seychelles and across Europe. We welcome visiting choirs and enjoy joining with other youth choirs in concerts. We have a training choir for younger singers, and a choir for boys whose Voices have changed.
