Being one of the most popular and sought after groups in Israel, "The Ensemble" has had innumerable performances of every sort and has participated in various festivals (including "Abu Ghosh" and "Festival Arad"), competitions (winners of "Shirat HaAretz 2001" and gold diploma recipients at "Sulam Mila 2002, 2004, 2006), official Israeli national and municipal events as well as a long list of private productions. Their repertoire leaning is towards “pop” (songs by the Beatles, Sting, Queen, Billy Joel, Aretha Franklin…), Israeli oldies and modern Hebrew “classics” which contain that "special something": On this list can be found songs by Shalom Hanoch, Yoni Rechter, Daniel Salomon, Yonathan Razel, and Yaruslav Yakobovitch. We perform a wide repertoire of secular and sacred Music, with and without accompaniment. Our concerts are at various venues in and around the borough, and once a year we perform with a small professional orchestra. We also hold regular social gatherings, to include families and friends, and enjoy Musical evenings and events. Would you like to sing with us? New members in all voices are warmly welcomed. After a few weeks there is a short informal audition, which includes some sight-reading. Members are asked to pay a modest subscription of £11 per month by direct debit. We rehearse weekly during term time on Monday evenings from 8.00pm to 10.00pm, in the small parish hall at All Saints Church, Long Lane, Hillingdon, UB10 9BT. The small parish hall is behind the main church hall, and can be accessed from the side entrance.  less

Our repertoire is diverse, and we are open to all church members and also to anyone who is friendly to the church. No special requirements. We are stretching ourselves to be better Music readers and Vocal technicians, and also to be able to learn Music by ear, memorize simpler songs quickly, and be free in our bodies while singing.

So they grabbed a few friends and went to it :) No, but seriously.... Eric Whitacre is a genius, and this song is beautiful. I would love you forever if you shared this with your friends/family/people you know/people you don't know/people you hate... you get the point... just show everybody :) You can click on almost any of the quartets (near the beginning of the video) and it'll link you to the video that the quartet was in I love feedback almost as much as i love new subscribers, let me know if you want me to do more choral videos or if I should stick to barbershop (remember this is my first choral, so they would get better) as always there is no autotune --Composed by Eric Wh...    less
