EFC is a Choir of around 75 singers, attracting people from all parts of the South West region. We perform with professional orchestras and soloists, and aim to bring choral music of the highest quality to our audiences. Under the inspired and dynamic musical direction of Nigel Perrin, EFC has become one of the region’s most versatile and highly acclaimed choral groups. We provide a broad range of music for our audiences, covering a great variety of genres and periods; we revisit standard works within the choral repertoire and explore new challenges from the contemporary musical scene. We like to be stretched musically and technically and, above all, we strive to set ourselves high standards  less

Guided by the works of ages past and inspired by the composers of today, Voce’s unique sound has been acclaimed as “exemplifying choral performance at its finest” as expressed by world-renowned composer Morten Lauridsen. Noted for its “tender warmth, exquisite nuance and enduring spirit” by the American Record Guide, and described as “heartbreakingly beautiful” by Stereophile Magazine, each Voce concert is an experience of sound - a journey of harmony.  less
