We as a choir are proud to be mentioned in Under Milk Wood, when the question is asked, “How’s the Tenors in Dowlais” One of our favourite songs has to be the Rev Eli Jenkins’ Sunset Poem from Under Milk Wood. All busy professional folk, who understand we cannot all make every rehearsal! Classical almost always unaccompanied repertoire. Palestrina, Bach, Victoria, Britten, Howells, RVW, Elgar, Poulenc etc, Need enthusiasm, music reading and some sight singing, or a good ear and quick learning. We dont audition, but invite you to try us and we to try you for a couple of sessions and see. Perform about 2 or 3 times a year.
