The group was set up to perform exciting Vocal material at a variety of events, and to give men and women who love singing, the platform to get involved in a fun and sociable musical experience. The Voice Of The Town family has now grown and not only do we have our choirs in Newcastle and Glasgow, but we now have choirs in Edinburgh and Birmingham.

We have a varied repertoire of well-known pop and Jazz songs, as well as the occasional folk song. A mixed choir or various age groups, we have regular concerts in the Berlin region, but also further afield, often abroad. The attached picture is from our 2014 concert at the Berlin Philharmonic Hall. We are keen to hear from anyone who would like to sing with us, but also from other choirs interested in clubbing together with us for a concert or two.  less

Our diverse Vocal programme is for 14-18 year olds who love to sing, are keen to develop their choral technique, improve their ensemble singing and explore a diverse range of Vocal styles. We sing a challenging and exciting repertoire encompassing many genres, and ensure that students gain a deep understanding of these musical styles through the guidance of sectional tutors and voice specialists.  less
