The main interest of the choir is to serve through music repertoires performances especially in Manado Diocese which consists of catholic churches of the province. The choir performs ordinarily music during Catholic Mass and other forms of choir services in churches and events. The formation of this Catholic youth has agreed to give contribution to the church and the country as young generation through music.
In 2014, Manado Catholic Choir had established its junior member, named Manado Catholic Youth Choir (MCYC). Consist of school age youngster and as part of Manado Catholic Choir has the same vision and mission.

The choir has rich concert acti... moreThe core of the team consists of students and graduates of the Gdańsk University of Technology. The choir's repertoire is very diverse. The band sings mainly sacral, including orthodox music, but also contemporary and folk. The choir has rich concert activity in the country and abroad and with great success has participated in many choral contests and festivals. The ensemble performed hundreds of concerts and presented its skills at competitions and festivals in Germany, Spain, Latvia, Lithuania, Italy, Switzerland, Hungary and many others. The choir has recorded a few CDs: "Bogoroditse Devo, Raduisya" from 2008, "Musica Sacra" from 2013, "Canticum Canticorum" from 2017. I would like to thank my Ottawa singing friends in the "Ad hoc Chorale" for testing out this piece in one of our informal workshops and offering valuable comments.

The World Youth Choir session 2012 was held in Cyprus from August 7th to September 1st, 2012 thanks to the cooperation between the Foundation World Youth Choir and the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra Foundation - Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra, supported by the Ministry of culture and education - Cyprus presidency of the European Union (cultural events in 2012).
