We go on stage in self-organized concerts, but perform in smaller occasions, too.

We sing a range of repertoire from jazz standards to 21st-century pop, barbershop to show tunes, but most importantly we sing a cappella. As well as entertaining audiences across The eastern suburbs of Melbourne we compete regularly in barbershop harmony competitions at a national level. The Spinnakerettes reach a new high in 2014. Presenting Their best performance to date: The girls were very happy to come home to Portsmouth with a 5th place medal. Hooray!!!

Very much (but not exclusively) in The barbershop stlye. Even though we have only been going a few months, our numbers have been increasing weekly as more and more people are seduced by The magical sound of ringing chords. We aim to be a serious performing chorus in due course. We have had a very successful 2012 and hope for even better in 2013 where we have a whole host of exciting things planned. Stay tuned!
