The fabulous amazing spectacular Carol Stenson is Their long standing director. South Salem took FIRST PLACE at Oregon's State Competition. This was Their second song of four. This whole competition took place at George Fox University in Newburg Oregon. The South Salem Saxons also took first at Their Districts festival in Salem/Keizer Oregon. Bairstow, Poem by Shelly) Das "Ensemble quartonal" wurde im Jahr 2006 von vier ehemaligen Mitgliedern der Chorknaben Uetersen gegründet. Im Mai 2010 konnte das junge Quartett beim Deutschen Chorwettbewerb den 1. Preis in der erstmals ausgeschriebenen Kategorie der klassischen Ensembles gewinnen und wurde damit über die Landesgrenzen hinaus bekannt. Diese Aufnahme stammt von einem Konzert im Lübecker Dom.
