We are an expanding Choir with a wide repertoire and have many aims and goals for the future.  

Bishop Road Community Choir is open to all in the local Community. We are a mixed, non-audition Choir. All songs are taught by ear and we don’t expect anyone to learn the words off by heart. However, music can be made available for those who want it. All songs are taught by ear and we don’t expect anyone to learn the words off by heart. However, music can be made available for those who want it. We sing a range of different songs, including pop, gospel, world music and classical. We mainly sing songs with piano accompaniment, provided by our famous pianiSt, Geoff. We hold our own annual concert, and we are often invited to sing at other local events such as the local MayFeSt. Our members come along for “enjoyment, friendship and satisfaction as well as singing with a group of like-minded people”. Singing is reputed to release endorphins in the brain, and we’ve certainly noticed amongSt us a sense of well-being following rehearsals and in particular, concerts. We are a very sociable bunch and often meet for a drink at the Chimp House on GlouceSter Road following our rehearsal on Thursday evenings. One Voice Community Choir celebrates diversity and continually sources new material from its multi-cultural roots. The inspired leadership of Musical Director Tyndale Thomas MBE, combined with 14 years of performance experience has produced a Stunning sound and versatile choral ensemble. Our aim is to build Community through gospel music and so we emphasise the fact that we are a Choir for anyone to join, no auditions and nor previous experience is required. If you love to sing...we're the Choir for you!  

This Choir is part of Community Development by Hope Citadel Health Care and the Salvation Army Eden project in Fitton Hill Oldham. It is open to all no matter what musical background, if any you may have. We "sing for the the sheer joy of it" and do local concerts. Recently we have sung at a large church inter-denominational chriStmas gathering and the highlight of the year to sing at a wedding at the requeSt of the Bride and Groom.  

-- CURRENTLY DORMANT -- The Overture Choir is an audition-free, Community Choir from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, which focuses on making singing accessible and enjoyable for Community members of all ages (18+).

A fun, lively Community Choir, always trying new things. We're open to anyone regardless of experience or ability - all we ask for is enthusiasm!

The Voice Community Choir is based in BarnStaple, North Devon. We sing a cappella music, old and new and songs from around the world. The emphasis is on enjoyment of singing - and is open to ALL.
