The sOng is arranged with modern vocal effect and technique to express the atmosphere and envirOnment of the poem. The poem describes a girl who has lOng been waiting for her lover to come back from far away. The clatter of horse hoofs has given her hope. However, it is just a passer-by, not her lover.
