The choir covers a wide range of repertoire and styles, especially focusing on those that push choral music into new, exciting arenas. The U Chamber choir performs numerous works by conductor Barlow Bradford, an active composer and arranger, as well as private commissions by other renowned composers. The Chamber choir often collaborates with other ensembles, both from the School of Music and off campus, including Dr. Bradford’s professional choir, the Utah Chamber Artists. Students in the U Chamber choir participate in the highest quality choral experience, advancing their vocal technique, knowledge of choral repertoire and musicianship. The World Youth choir session 2012 was held in Cyprus from August 7th to September 1st, 2012 thanks to the cooperation between the Foundation World Youth choir and the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra Foundation - Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra, supported by the Ministry of culture and education - Cyprus presidency of the European Union (cultural events in 2012). The choir has a wide repertoire, ranging from folk to pop, with an emphasis on Finnish female choral music. However, the choir enthusiastically performs songs from all around the world. The choir performs in a wide range of events hosted by businesses and organisations. In the spring of 2015 the choir was performing for the first time abroad - in Finland. Summer 2017 choir was in Verona, Italy, taking a part of an international choir festival.  less

The choir has a wide-ranging repertoire – from traditional sacred music to modern, contemporary compositions, popular arrangements and music from around the world. They perform regular concerts in London and the South East, as well as touring each year, with recent trips including Italy, Slovenia, Croatia and Greece. In 2025 the choir celebrated their 10th Birthday year, and the 25th anniversary of the founding of Northern Spirit Singers. Rehearsing monthly in central London, Southern Spirit Singers aim to perform the very highest standards of choral music in a relaxed and fun environment. In 2019 the choir returned with four gold medals from the European choir Games in Gothenburg.
