The chorale is from Northern California in the San Francisco Bay Area. We perform twice a year in April and November. The choir also travels internationally to such places as Canada, Italy, Hungary, Puerto Rico, Morocco, and Spain. Our goal when we travel is to collaborate with choirs from the region we are visiting and perform concerts together. Our repertoire ranges from Mozart to Ola Gjeilo to Eric Whitacre and many more.

Good Noise has performed with artists such as Barbra Streisand, David Foster, Josh Groban, Holly Cole, Daniel Lapp, Dee Daniels, Jim Byrnes, John Lee Sanders, Jennifer Scott, Karin Plato, Kate Hammett-Vaughan, and has appeared on CBC TV, CBC Radio, Global TV, CityTV, Bravo, Knowledge Network and Vision TV. The choir has performed at several festivals, including the Vancouver Folk Festival, Envision Jazz Festival and the WinterSong Festival. In the Fall of 2013, Good Noise was featured live in concert in an episode for a new television series on Vision TV, “Gospel To Go”. The choir has also been featured in a television Christmas gospel music special “Tell It On The Mountain” on the Bravo Network, Vision Network and the Knowledge Network and featured in the Disney corporation’s promotion of the musical “The Lion King”. Belle Canto was the first choir formed in the Cantilon family and remains its only adult ensemble. In touring and recording, Belle Canto has distinguished itself as one of today’s foremost women’s ensembles. Originally a group of university students, the choir now consists of amateur singers from all walks of life. Belle Canto particularly enjoys exploring the contemporary repertoire of Eastern Europe and Scandinavia and has recorded much of this repertoire on their disc, Invocation.  less
