This piece was presented in the second half of the program, representing the changing seasons, which paralleled the changing moods and textures in the piece's three mini movements.

For our second "live" video, we're performing the Welsh Hymn "Llef,' or "Deus Salutis." Want to join us for a virtual rehearsal? Just go to our website, welshchoir.ca, and click on Virtual Rehearsals.

"Shenandoah - the lush a cappella harmonies towards the end had me hitting the repeat button again and again, if only to wallow in the glorious antithetical glissandos in the last measure. I loved that! " Barbara Allen - Pasadena, California USA Lyrics ’Mid all the traffic of the ways, Turmoils without, within, Make in my heart a quiet place, And come and dwell therein. A little shrine of quietness, All sacred to Thyself, Where Thou shalt all my soul possess, And I may find myself. A little place of mystic grace, of self and sin swept bare, Where I may look into thy face, And talk with thee in prayer.
