Very high unpretentious music, the choir was created to provide coverage to the need to sing and further training of a group of friends singing around the figure of his teacher. the time spent on the trials is very low in comparison to a standard chorus but over the years has drawn new members, has taken on challenges in terms of repertoire, has been federated, offers concerts by the municipalities of Biscay, and share their work in exchanges with other choirs in and out of Euskadi. Are you a legal professional who's looking for a fresh way to connect with your musical interests and like-minded legal eagles while giving back meaningfully to our community? the 80+ voice New York City Bar Chorus ("CBC") will conduct a limited number of auditions (brief, private and low-pressure), with primary focus on baritones, basses and high sopranos, for our fall 2017 cycle. We rehearse about three Tuesday evenings per month, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM, in midtown Manhattan to produce what listeners describe as a professional-quality sound, spanning musical theater, jazz, pop/rock, gospel and classical styles. Homechoir is a new way of learning music. You don’t need to be an accomplished singer to take part. Homechoir members watch and sing along with Ben - teaching is one-way so nobody can hear us but the neighbours! - and are also invited to take part in the live text chat with Ben and with fellow singers around the world. there is a vibrant and friendly social community among the choir. If you can’t join in live, then you can still enjoy the music-making at any time. All our sessions remain available on YouTube after the live streams end for watching on catch-up when you can, and as often as you like. Bishop Road Community Choir is open to all in the local community. We are a mixed, non-audition choir. All songs are taught by ear and we don’t expect anyone to learn the words off by heart. However, music can be made available for those who want it. We are a mixed, non-audition choir. All songs are taught by ear and we don’t expect anyone to learn the words off by heart. However, music can be made available for those who want it. We sing a range of different songs, including pop, gospel, world music and classical. We mainly sing songs with piano accompaniment, provided by our famous pianist, Geoff. We hold our own annual concert, and we are often invited to sing at other local events such as the local MayFest. Our members come along for “enjoyment, friendship and satisfaction as well as singing with a group of like-minded people”. Singing is reputed to release endorphins in the brain, and we’ve certainly noticed amongst us a sense of well-being following rehearsals and in particular, concerts. We are a very sociable bunch and often meet for a drink at the Chimp House on Gloucester Road following our rehearsal on Thursday evenings.
