Mr & Mrs Sam Korankye Ankrah, the Apostle General and his wife the Premier Lady of Royalhouse Chapel International, serves as the Executive Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the choir. Each week, a diverse group of New Yorkers from all walks of life–ranging from show business professionals to avid shower Singers–gather at a professional rehearsal studio in Midtown Manhattan to belt out an eclectic mix of music in stunning 4-part harmony in preparation for a final concert held at an off-Broadway theatre. During its 25 years of activity, the ensemble has won several first prizes in choral competitions in Israel and Europe, performed in many musical festivals and events, as well as TV shows and radio programs. The ensemble collaborated with top Israeli musicians such as Yoni Rechter, Alon Olearchik and many more. The objective was to bring about musical performances (of choral works by foreign and Nigerian composers) of sufficiently High standard for international consumption, within the limitations of national resources. The CHORALE which has grown in size to over 100 Singers has given numerous concerts in Lagos and other towns in Nigeria, including Aba, Abakaliki, Abeokuta, Abuja, Benin, Calabar, Eket, Enugu, Ibadan, Ife, Nsit Atai, Oko, Owerri, Port Harcourt, Umuahia and Uyo.
