He organized the concerts of symphonic music and helped promote them. For the first time, the choir came together in the evening of October 18, when about 90 students gathered at Riga Secondary School No 2. the testing of voices was not very strict, and of the entire enthusiastic crowd only one student was rejected. then, for a month, rehearsals were held, in which the voices of would-be singers were trained and made to keep in tune. After that another testing was held. This time the competition was much stricter, and only 40 singers were selected. A message from the Director: "Christmas 2020 is the first in our 43-year history where we haven’t been able to stage live concerts, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still sing.
