Directe...  moreBlossom Street is a highly versatile and vibrant Chamber Choir comprising some of the UK’s best young Singers which performs regularly on TV and radio as well as on the concert platform, and has released two critically acclaimed CDs with Naxos. Directed by Hilary Campbell, a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, the group was formed a decade ago, while the Singers were studying at the University of York, and relocated to London in 2007. In York, Blossom Street filmed a medley of Christmas carols for BBC2, which was broadcast during the snooker final in 2005, and since then has performed nationwide and beyond. They sang to Prince Charles on ITV1 as part of his 60th birthday celebrations, and gave their debut in Queen Elizabeth Hall as part of the Voicelab series in 2009. Recent projects include performances in Sweden, Japan and Spain as well as at the Edinburgh Fringe, regular broadcasts on BBC Radio 4, recording projects for Resonus and Guild, several education projects and corporate, concert and festival ...    less

Fulham Camerata is primarily a non-auditioning amateur Chamber Choir with between 25 and 50 members. It is supported by a smaller, auditioning Fulham Camerata Ensemble which is made up of professional and semi-professional Singers, allowing the main Camer...  moreFulham Camerata is primarily a non-auditioning amateur Chamber Choir with between 25 and 50 members. It is supported by a smaller, auditioning Fulham Camerata Ensemble which is made up of professional and semi-professional Singers, allowing the main Camerata to tackle exciting repertoire and maintain high musical standards while fostering the careers of young professionals. The Choir also offers choral scholarships to promising young soloists which provides vocal support for the amateur Choir, and fosters career development for the scholars. The amateur and ensemble groups come together for at least three main concerts a year with additional Christmas concerts, sometimes with orchestra. The amateur Choir rehearses on Tuesday evenings from 7.30 – 9.30pm  less

All the children are free, Teachers are gone, In all corners of the country, school is out! All the pilgrims are ready; it's the frivolous party season! The feast has begun, everywhere it's part time! Many have arrived at Lakou Migonga. Chickens, turkeys and ducks Are carousing in the yard. Fathers, grandfathers, brothers and sisters are gathered, Neighbors and friends, we all make one family. These are all customs in the country of Haiti. Artocarpus incisa, Millet, Sugarcanes are flourishing. Mangos and Avocados are falling all day long. The night before, it's wood burning, The next day, it's the ten a.m. Mass.
