The Seagrave Singers are an award winning all-female choir. It is our aim to bring enjoyment to others and ourselves by delivering a HIGH quality performance. We present our own concerts bi-annually and organise concerts to assist with fundraising.

Founded in 1989 by Mr. Albert Morland to provide an opportunity for ex-members of the Wonderboom HIGH SCHOOL Choir to continue singing together after matriculating, it has since evolved to include members from a broader community that come from various backgrounds and professions (including law, accounting, nursing, teaching and IT) and are between 18 and 65 years of age. The choir has toured and performed across South Africa during the past 30 years and has an established reputation as a warm, friendly and “no-fuss” group with good choral sound who are just as comfortable performing at nursing homes and other charitable events as they are performing alongside the best choirs in the world on International stages, for instance, at the 10th World Choir Games in 2018, where they took home a silver medal (79.5%) in the champion’s category for mixed adult choirs. In this time the choir has participated in the Madrid Community choir contest, obtaining the f...  moreSince its foundation in 2005 by the choir master Enrique Martin, the choir of Las Veredas SCHOOL has been developing choral MUSIC with 11 to 16 year old pupils. In this time the choir has participated in the Madrid Community choir contest, obtaining the first prize in 2009 and 2010, and the secón prize in 2007 and 2008 Within the choir activities, we could also mention their participation in theatre productions of the MUSICals Persephone and Midas by Steve Pogson, with which they obtained the first prize in the Vademorillo theatre contest. They were also awarded first prize in the Community of Madrid theatre contest, with the MUSICal Super Jim, a play which was written specially for the choir by the British authors Steve Pogson and George Simmers.
