Performing with an ensemble of 10 singers and no conductor, Chicago a cappella is recognized as one of the area’s most accomplished vocal ensembles. Under the direction of artistic director John William Trotter, the group spans a repertoire from Gregorian chant to the Beatles and beyond and is known for its performances of sacred works, vocal jazz and pop, folk and international music, as well as a special focus on music written in the present generation. Since its founding in 1993, the ensemble has introduced dozens of works to Chicago audiences for the first time, including commissioned works by Chen Yi, Stacy Garrop, and Tania León.
Chicago a cappella has toured to 13 U.S. states and Mexico and has appeared on national radio broadcasts, including American Public Media’s "Performance Today." Its discography includes recordings on the Cedille, Centaur and Gothic labels, including highly-a... less

At its Heart is a repertoire which spans six centuries and embraces all styles of music. Musical Director Peter Leech is planning an exciting concert next July to celebrate the group's tenth anniversary.
Every concert features music from every aspect of Spectra Musica’s repertoire.

Located in the in the Heart of Stockholm, these two churches are a renowned center for church music in Sweden. The choir´s repertoire consists of a cappella works from a wide range of national styles and periods, as well as larger works for choir and orchestra.
The choir has won several of Europe´s most important competitions including the European Grand Prize for choral music. The choir has also participated in a wide array of national and international festivals such as the Conference for Swedish Choral Conductors, the Scandinavian Symposium for Sacred Music, the Tolosa Festival in Spain, the IFCM World Symposium in Minneapolis, Sagra Musicale Umbra in Italy, Musica Sacra in Germany, Polyfollia in France, Debrecen Festival in Hungary, and De Internationale Koorbiënnale Haarlem in Holland.
