Soulfood is Sydney based a cappella group. We sing everything from Jazz, pop, funk, soul to motown, and sometimes add a bit of beatbox for a Little more musical colour!

We provide music for all occasions, such as private parties, corporate functions, weddings, birthdays, etc., with a varied repertoire in the style of The Manhattan Transfer, New York Voices, The Real Group, Singers Unlimited, The Swingle Singers, Take Six and others. Clearly Vocal was selected as one of seven groups to compete in the 2010 Rocky Mountain Harmony Sweepstakes in Denver, Colorado. As winners of the 2010 Contemporary A Cappella League Showcase, Clearly Vocal was a featured group at the SoJam A Cappella Festival in Durham, North Carolina, November 12 & 13, 2010.  less

Himig Batingaw was founded in March of 1979 by group of graduating students of Imus Institute to sing for that year's baccalaureate Mass. In the first few years of the choir's existence, they conducted rehearsals at the church belfry; hence the name Himig (melody) and Batingaw (peal of bells) was born. The choir is very influential in the rise and development of choral music in the parish and having introduced new pieces for liturgical use most of which are composed or arranged for the group and having graduated noted local musicians from its ranks. The choir began to tread new ground under the directorship of Mr. Edward Gerodias in the late 1980's then on to Mr. Rey Roland Bergado in the late 1990's, both sought after pianists. This period witnessed a string of successful concerts, and a Grand Prize at the first Paskuhan sa Imus Choral Competition. It is made up of James Rose (Founder), Sam Robson, Emily Dankworth, Ben Cox, Martynas Vilpisauskas and Lewis Daniel, all young and talented musicians from the Guildhall School of Music. Performing live on stage around London with guest singers such as Jacqui Dankworth, VIVE brings rich, diverse harmonies with a fresh, contemporary sound, taking inspiration from the legendary Take 6 and the Real Group! Their music is mainly original arrangements and compositions and what's more, the focal point is not just pop, fusion, harmony, Jazz, spirituals... but a complete synthesis of all of these.
