The Sierra Boys Choir is the new revival of the Sierra Boys Choir in the 1970s, which was active in the Reno/Sparks/Carson City area and directed by Stan Burke. When Mr. Burke joined the Mario Singers and left to move to Long Beach, CA, the choir was disbanded and a hole was left in the local arts and culture scene. The revival of the choir is a project (and passion) of Nathan Lundholm. Our goal is to provide musical and artistic opportunities to the boys while teaching them to be generous and thankful members of the local and global community. Our aim is to be fun and entertaining on many levels, from practices to shows, even to social events on the town. We put all volunteers through a background check, and we ask some degree of participation from parents. The Sierra Boys Choir is a 501c3 non-profit corp. All donations and contributions are tax-deductible. Mission Statement: A non-profit musical Ensemble for boys based in Reno, Nevada, the Sierra Boys Choir pr...    less

In August 2009, Mikko Sidoroff started his work as the choir’s conductor. The choir’s repertoire mainly consists of a wide variety of a cappella songs. The choir can be found performing in Turku as well as other cities many times throughout the year. Traditionally, there is a quartet concert in January, a spring concert right after May Day (Vappu) and an advent concert in December. The TYY Choir has participated in many venues outside of Turku. O. Afriyie Duet - Dr. Oduro-Barnie Kwaku Anim - Mr. Prince Theophilus Adjei Despite the many blessings and gifts that we receive from God on a daily basis, many of us fail to recognize or appreciate them. We take the beauty of nature, the love of our family and friends, and even our own existence for granted, forgetting that each of these is a precious gift from our Creator. Ultimately, our ingratitude towards God is a reflection of our own spiritual blindness and ignorance. We fail to see the many ways in which God is present in our lives, and we fail to recognize the many blessings that He bestows upon us each day. If we truly wish to overcome our ingratitude, we must learn to open our hearts and minds to God's presence, and we must strive to cultivate a spirit of gratitude and thanksgiving in all that we do. - Musikteers Ensemble Gh #trending #hymns #popular #viral #music #art #artist #choralmusic #sacred #soothing @VOCES8 @TheSympho...    less
