Since 2009, it has been gladding the ceremonies of Parishes nearby, mainly thanks to new musical equipment and stabler rehearsals and organisation. Tamariki offers a focus on thorough and excellent music education, with singers learning about healthy vocal production, the body-voice connection, and vibrant performance presence as well as a strong emphasis on musical literacy, music theory, and sightsinging skills. To better address the different needs and abilities of this diverse age range, the Choir is now split into two streams:
Tamariki 1 is for singers in Kindergarten and Grade 1. (Singers must be 5 years old by March 1, 2014 in order to register.)
Tamariki 2 is for singers in Grades 2 and 3.
The different streams and rehearsal days will combine t... less
