We have performed on BBC Radio London, at Wembley Stadium, and recorded an advert at studios where Harry Potter and Shrek were made. We meet on Wednesdays, 4.30-5.30pm in NW3, and there are no auditions. We sing a wide variety of music, including classical, Disney, musical theatre, rock, pop and music from around the world. After a £20 three-week trial (not an audition, just to see if your child enjoys the choir), the fee is £10 for each remaining week of term (siblings 25% off, discount available if you have concerns about paying). Every year we sing a major choral work with the London Classical Orchestra, in a Concert for the Homeless. We have also performed at Wembley Stadium and on a big Ryder Cup Europe social media campaign. During the tenure...  moreThe ROYAL COLLEGE choir, which traces its origins back to St. Paul’s Church, Wolvendhal where Royal College itself was formed in 1835 It was made part of the Western Music Society of Royal College with its formation in the year 1919. During the tenure of Principal Major Harry L. Reed the choir won the prestigious R. Meaden Shield(Senior) for Singing for 10 successive years from 1920 to 1931, once with a perfect score of 200/200. The College Anthem ‘School of our Fathers’, composed by Principal Reed made its debut at this competition on the 13th day of July, 1928 and to this day takes responsibility of preserving the College Anthem. The choir was trained by Mrs. Reed with the support of Robert C. Edwards, Esq. The choir today continues to sing at many major events in and out of College, the most significant out of which being the Annual Carol Service. It is currently trained by the eminent Ms. Sureka Amerasinghe.  less
