The present Society was founded in 1961, so we are now in our 51st year and still going from strength to strength. We perform three or four main concerts during the year, with programmes featuring anything from Bach (Christmas Oratorio, St. John Passion) to Beatles, Gounod (Messe Solennelle de Sainte Cecile) to Gershwin, Rutter (Requiem, Magnificat, carols) and Haydn (Creation, Te Deum) to Rogers and Hart.  less

The group is comprised of singers from all around the world who all call Hong Kong their home. Under the leadership of Celia Leung, the group strives to add more musical colour to the city. Sing City was seen singing for charity and community events, and also at their own Christmas and Summer performances. The group participated in the Karuizawa International Choral Festival in August 2018.

The choir was established in 2005 by Bartosz Michałowski, a long-time assistant to Prof. Stefan Stuligrosz, founder of the famous "Poznan Nightingales" Boys´ and Men´s Choir of the Poznan Philharmonic. Conducting experience acquired during numerous concerts with the Poznan Philharmonic and Sinfonia Varsovia orchestras played a crucial role in the establishment of the young artist's own ensemble, which soon found recognition among organizers of prominent competitions and festivals. We perform at least three concerts per year with professional orchestras or accompaniment in the major Dublin venues and over the years have undertaken trips to choral festivals abroad. Two regular events are the ever-popular Christmas Concert in the NCH and the Carmichael Centre’s annual fund-raising concert in St, Patrick’s Cathedral, formerly on Good Friday but latterly in May.
