Du suchst einen offenen Kammerchor in München und möchtest bei unseren Chorkonzerten in der Innenstadt mitsingen? Egal von welcher Universität, der LMU, TUM oder Fachhochschule der Junge Chor sucht zum Jahresbeginn wieder junge Leute, erfahrene Sängerinnen und Sänger aller Stimmlagen. Unser Probenraum befindet sich gut erreichbar, direkt zwischen Marienplatz und Hofbräuhaus in der Münchner Innenstadt! World-class, professional Canadian soloists enjoy performing with with the choir time and again. Each season, the choir presents four or five concerts, incorporating a blend of repertoire from gospel to sacred to pop to oratorio. Classical highlights include St. Matthew Passion, Elijah, the annual Messiah, Carmina Burana, and Bach's B Minor Mass, which was a crowning achievement for the choir’s 10th and 20th anniversaries. Other popular concerts have featured the musical and comedic talents of Natalie Choquette, the famous and charismatic Michael Burgess, and the stirring sounds of spirituals under the direction of Brainerd Blyden-Taylor, whose own professional chamber choir, The Nathaniel Dett Chorale, headed for Washington to join the celebrations around President Obama’s inauguration.  less

Ci dedichiamo allo studio del repertorio corale sacro e profano a cappella e con strumenti ricercandone i diversi stili esecutivi . Solitamente proponiamo concerti con programmi tematici o in forma di spettacolo (la natura, l’acqua, la danza, Maria, I responsori, ecc…) per consentire al pubblico di fruire contemporaneamente della musica e dei suoi significati evocativi, religiosi, storico-culturali, aggregativi, ecc … Fin dalla nostra fondazione abbiamo svolto un’intensa attività concertistica e culturale promuovendo una costante divulgazione della musica polifonica attraverso concerti, spettacoli, lezioni-concerto, ecc.. e diversi momenti formativi con maestri di fama internazionale.
