Artistic Director: Wallis Peterson, Accompanist: Gayle Giese. Give us a palette to paint us as we are. Enough of black and white, yellow and red, Those false colors that sham at fact. Coffee chocolate, and cafe au lait Ivoried-saffron and saffroned-ivory, Bronze and brass, copper and rose gold, Tea and pale butter, golden almond, Infinite varieties of browns and tans, Pale rose, pink, and soft rose cream, Mahogany, oak, cedar, and champagne. These are the colors of people I see, Not black and white, not yellow and red. Those false colors no longer will do. Give us a palette to paint us true.  less

Using the simple view that a good song is a good song, has meant that they bring together a collection of pieces that appeal to a wide audience. The Choir delights in introducing new songs that are connected by their unique choral sound, rather than from a particular genre and it is this wide appeal and their sense of fun that has meant the group is in constant demand and continually attracts new members. Even in its early days the Choir never quite conformed to the accepted norms of what should be included in their repertoire. However, this in no way hindered its appeal and it went on to win a number and prestigious competitions including one of the largest Eisteddfods for male Choirs in Wales, an award for services to the arts from Chelmsford City Council and passed the advanced choral singing examination of The Associated Board of the Royal College of Music Successive musical directors contributed the Choir`s ...    less

We are girls who become like family through our shared passion for music. Each member auditioned by our Choirmaster, Andre van der Merwe, and attends Stellenberg High School. Our repertoire consists mainly of Gospel, ACapella, Classical, Folk/Ethnic, and Sacred music. We compete in various national and international competitions and strive to share beautiful music with the world while being cultural ambassadors for our country. Achievements: - Overall winners of the "ATKV Nasionale Applous-kompetisie" for 12 times (1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011). - In 2002 they won the category for Women's Choirs at the Llangollen International Eisteddfod in Wales. - In 2004, we were awarded the highest percentage for any Choir at the World Choir Olympics. - In 2006 we won the much acclaimed Choir of the World trophy in Llangollen Wales. ...    less
