Cada uno de ellos se ha aprendido y grabado individualmente con su voz o instrumento una parte de esta canción original, para después juntarlas para dar como resultado este maravilloso despliegue hecho por estos jóvenes de entre 13 y 15 años con motivo de la ceremonia de graduación de la generación 2011-2014. Estos jóvenes nos demuestran que lo único que hace falta para lograr tus metas es arriesgarte y dar todo de tí. Más de la tercera parte de ellos (incluída la solista) jamás habían cantado en público hasta este momento. This piece is an adventure of someone who is disconnected from himself and his environment, and undertakes a journey in total solitude, into an immense space carrying all of his uncertainties. It is that space that teaches him to find himself, to ask questions and reflect. In the process, he may get lost, but he knows that he will struggle to find the way, and ends up revealing to himself a truth that transcends him. A truth so powerful that it dazzles him. It makes him see life where he once saw loneliness. Finally, feeling at peace and harmony with himself, he finds the help of great guides who sail at his side. The score is at once rhythmic and exciting, haunting and unsettling. It was a winner of the 2018 Uncommon Music Festival Composition Competition. It is accessible for all fine high school, collegiate and community choral ensembles. The group would like to promote their vast repertoire ...  moreFounded in 2001 by Cyrille Rault-Gregorio, the Choir of the “Chambre Arthémys” is comprised of 18 singers chosen especially for their vocal and musical talents. These singers also perform as soloists. The group would like to promote their vast repertoire of singing ‘a cappella’ (without instruments) pieces from 16th to 21st century and their different styles. As well as being accompanied by orchestral ensembles, the Choir often work with notable composers (Lucian Tuguy, Thibault Maillé, Jean-Christophe Marti…) who help to create the musical pieces. Ranging from traditional concerts to original and artistic experiences, the Choir is always seeking to give value to all of the creative initiatives. We do a wide variety of music from Renaissance to contemporary and from a cappella to works with Chamber orchestra. We are a fun loving, very friendly group.
