Striving to achieve artistic, vocal and musical excellence the choir Singers are graduates of the Rubin Academy of Music Tel Aviv, the School of Choir Singing, music students and graduates of selected youth choirs, performing a varied repertoire including both classical and contemporary music. Ma'ayan has performed in official ceremonies held by the municipality; in various festivals such as Tel Aviv –Yafo Festival, Abu Gosh Vocal Music Festival, The Renaissance Festival, "Tones in the Desert" festival, the Jerusalem Arts Festival; in concerts with the Symphonic Orchestras of Jerusalem, Haifa and Rishon Letzion, the Kibbutz Chamber Orchestra, the Israeli Chamber Orchestra, Raanana Symphonette, Baroquada, Jerusalem Baroque Orchestra and the Israeli Opera. The word 'vacilando' is Spanish, and refers to taking enjoyment out of the journey rather than focusing on the ...  moreVacilando is the newest choir in the Kokopelli Choir Association, created in response to many requests for an adult choir in our organization! The word 'vacilando' is Spanish, and refers to taking enjoyment out of the journey rather than focusing on the destination. As such, the choir will take a more casual approach to music-making, with fewer performances throughout the season than Òran, our young adult choir. The group will still place an emphasis on all the things that make Kokopelli's music-making unique, however: community, multiculturalism, choral excellence, and multifaceted performances.  less

Our Singers are all ages and come from all walks of life. Our motto is musical excellence in the Barbershop style" and we strive to bring that excellence to every performance. We like to perform in and around our community. We perform almost anywhere, including parties, business meetings, churches, and theaters. We have been regular performers at the Muckenthaler Cultural Center in Fullerton and at Disneyland for several years. We offer quality family entertainment for most budgets.  less
